- •The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and crafting new qualified opportunities for the wider sales team.
- •Key Responsibilities Consistently exceed targets on a monthly basis Display a creative prospecting cadence for targeted accounts Become the authority on all things Checkout.com Understand our customers needs to demonstrate the Checkout.com value proposition Keep your ear to the ground to ensure the latest developments in different industries Requirements Hunter Mindset: A proactive and positive attitude with a talent for navigating pathways to reach key decision-makers Outbound Sales Experience: 2+ years in an outbound sales role, with a proven track record of successfully selling complex products or services to enterprise customers Industry Knowledge: Experience in the payments industry or with Australia merchants going global is a significant advantage Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent listening and communication skills, whether written, verbal, or in person, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels (including senior stakeholders) Familiarity with Sales Tools: Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SimilarWeb, Lusha, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus Passion for Sales: A genuine enthusiasm for sales, coupled with resilience in the face of objections, turning challenges into opportunities Intellectual Curiosity: An eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving landscape, with a proactive approach to personal and professional growth Fast-Paced Environment: A desire to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced work environment Fluent in English
